  • New Sponsor — April 27, 2026

I am pleased to announce that Ads by Giïgle™ is now sponsoring WarrenYoder.net. (Remember to pronounce the diaeresis.) These ads serve only the most discerning and highly qualified tech audience: the true 10x coders, the rockstar developers, the full-stack gods, the product visionaries, the roadmap oracles, the unicorn CEOs, and anyone who has ever closed a laptop and said "ship it".

Proceeds from the ads provide essential ludic support for the one-of-a-kind Artifacts found only here.

But please be careful. Ads by Giïgle™ has an unusual distribution model. Carefully read their marketing strategy. WarrenYoder.net cannot offer support for those who do not meet their exacting requirements.

  • Every Spring

    Street trees long to fly,
    and bitterly resent,
    every spring,
when song birds return to the nest.

Apartment blocks haven't the wit to wish.
    Concrete heals slowly.
    Window glass is sullen.
    Hallways suffer children the most.

    Traffic lights do wish.
    Parking ramps are greedy.
    Trash continues to plan.
    Weeds despise the city.

Summer will bake out all hope.
    Cities are happier frozen.
    But disappointment returns,
    every spring.
